Introduction to Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)

The course is divided into four different chapters:

1. Introduction and background
2. Transformative learning and learning for change
3. ESD and sustainability competencies
4. ESD in practice

Each chapter ends with a quiz. You have unlimited amounts of tries on the quizzes but you have to get every answer right in order to move on.

The contents of this course is approximate to about 2 ECTS. Please note, that if using some of these materials at a regular university course together with the suggested extra tasks, teacher supplementation, or other tasks that are not self-correcting, the course contents could be equivalent to about 5 ECTS.
